Scott Dudek started working as a police officer in Connecticut and worked there for a total of five years. He moved to California and started working for Alameda County Sheriff's Office for the next 28 years. His last 22 years of his career, he was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Unit. He was the detective/sergeant in-charge for the Special Investigations Unit. This unit investigates narcotic, vice, undercover operations, and sophisticated and confidential criminal investigations. During the last 10 years of his career, he was in-charge of the Homicide Unit, Cold Case Unit, and the Adult Missing Person Unit.
While in-charge, his units had one of the highest solve rates of any police or sheriff's office throughout the entire Bay Area. During the last 17 years of his career, he was a member of the Elite Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit (bomb squad) for the sheriff's office. He has qualified as an "expert" in both Federal and State courts in numerous areas of criminal law. These are all achievements he is very proud of.
Scott Dudek retired from Alameda County Sheriff's Office in 2011. He was determined to keep providing his skills to the community and to continue helping people. He started Dudek and Associates Private Investigation in 2012.
